Overview
A fully automated weld overlay system built around TIP TIG hot wire. PLC-controlled with AVC, stepper-driven axes, and a 3500 kg (7716 lbs) turntable. Handles pipes, vessels, flanges, and valve bodies up to 1200 mm (47.2 in) diameter and 2000 mm (78.7 in) height. Optional laser tracking. All parameters adjustable on the fly from a hand-held pendant, with data logging and remote diagnostics.
Key Features
Fully automated welding with Arc Voltage Control, constant surface speed, and override of amps, wire feed speed, and table speed during welding. 50 internal programs, 2 GB compact flash storage, and multi-language HMI with metric/imperial switching.
X axis (1300 mm (51.2 in) travel), Z axis (1300 mm (51.2 in) travel), and oscillation axis (100 mm (3.9 in) travel) — all stepper-controlled for precise, repeatable torch positioning. Real-time position measurement ensures accuracy on every pass.
1200 mm (47.2 in) table with 3500 kg (7716 lbs) capacity, bore torch access at 110 mm (4.3 in), and constant surface speed control. Handles parts up to 1200 mm (47.2 in) diameter and 2000 mm (78.7 in) height. Optional slip ring for preheating.
Designed for ring groove welding, tee joints, X joints, and upper/lower minor bore applications. Optional laser tracking enables easy-to-use seam following without programming.
